Ingredients
4
Person(s)
  • 1½ pound
    Sirloin steak
  • 1 tsp
    Kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    Black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp
    Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp
    Olive Oil
  • 4 tbsp
    Unsalted butter
  • 6
    Cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp
    Fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp
    Fresh lemon juice
Directions
  • Prep & Season the Steak

Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps create a better sear and deeper flavor.

Place steak in a bowl and season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Toss well until every piece is evenly coated.

  • Sear the Steak Bites

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once hot, add steak cubes in a single layer.

Do not overcrowd the pan - cook in batches if needed. Let steak sear undisturbed for about 2 minutes to build a golden crust, then turn and cook another 2–3 minutes until browned on multiple sides.

Remove steak from the pan and set aside.

  • Make Garlic Butter Sauce

Lower heat to medium. Add 2 tablespoons butter to the same skillet.

Once melted, add minced garlic and optional red pepper flakes. Cook for 30–45 seconds until fragrant but not browned.

Add remaining butter and stir until fully melted and silky.

  • Combine, Finish & Serve

Return steak bites and any juices back to the skillet. Toss well to coat in garlic butter sauce.

Add lemon juice and fresh parsley, then cook for 1 more minute to blend flavors.

Remove from heat and serve immediately while hot and juicy. Pair with mashed potatoes, rice, roasted vegetables, or salad.
