  • 1 tbsp
    Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    Dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp
    Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp
Directions
  • Prepare the chopped filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped salami, pepperoni, deli ham, provolone cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, red onion, banana peppers, and fresh parsley. Toss the ingredients together to evenly distribute the meats, vegetables, and cheese throughout the mixture.

  • Make the dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, olive oil, dried oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth and well blended. This tangy dressing helps bind the filling together and adds classic Italian sandwich flavor

  • Mix the filling and prepare the rolls

Pour the dressing over the chopped sandwich mixture and toss thoroughly until all of the ingredients are evenly coated. Split the Italian rolls lengthwise and lightly toast them if desired to add extra texture and prevent the bread from becoming soggy.

  • Assemble and serve

Divide the chopped filling evenly among the prepared rolls, packing the mixture generously into each sandwich. Gently press the sandwiches to help the flavors meld together, then slice in half and serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
