Ingredients

Person(s)
  • 12 oz
    Spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp
    Butter
  • 1 tbsp
    Olive Oil
  • 5
    Cloves garlic
  • 3 cup
    Chicken broth or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup
    Heavy cream
  • 1½ cup
    Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp
    Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp
    Salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    Red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp
    Fresh parsley
Directions
  • Sauté the Garlic

Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add butter and olive oil. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for about 30–60 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to brown the garlic, as it can become bitter.

  • Cook the Pasta

Add the broth, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper to the pot. Stir to combine. Add the uncooked pasta and bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring frequently, until the pasta becomes tender and absorbs most of the liquid.

  • Create the Creamy Parmesan Sauce

Once the pasta is cooked, remove the pot from heat. Stir in freshly grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of warm broth or cream to reach your preferred consistency.

  • Finish & Serve

Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese before serving. Serve warm with your favorite side dish or salad.
