Ingredients

Person(s)
  • 1 cup
    Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup
    Granulated sugar
  • 5 cup
    Cold water
  • 1/2 cup
    Warm water
  • 1/4 cup
    Fresh mint leaves
  • 1
    Lemon
Directions
  • Make the Simple Syrup

Pour the warm water into a pitcher or measuring cup. Add the granulated sugar and stir until it has completely dissolved. This helps create a smooth lemonade without any grainy sugar settling at the bottom.

  • Add the Lemon Juice

Pour the freshly squeezed lemon juice into the pitcher with the dissolved sugar. Add the cold water and stir well until everything is fully combined.

  • Add the Mint

Lightly crush the fresh mint leaves between your fingers to release their natural oils, then stir them into the lemonade. Let the lemonade chill in the refrigerator for at least 20–30 minutes so the mint flavor can gently infuse.

  • Serve

Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled lemonade over the top. Garnish each glass with fresh lemon slices and additional mint leaves before serving immediately.
