- Prepare the Pork Belly Marinade
Pat the pork belly cubes dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps the outside become crispier during air frying. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, five spice powder, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, black pepper, and salt. Add the pork belly pieces and toss until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for deeper flavor.
- Coat and Prepare for Air Frying
Remove the marinated pork belly from the refrigerator and add cornstarch. Toss well until each piece has a light coating. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F for 3 minutes. Arrange the pork belly pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding so the hot air can circulate properly.
- Air Fry Until Crispy
Air fry the pork belly at 380°F for 18–22 minutes, shaking the basket every 6–7 minutes to cook evenly. The bites should become deeply golden, crispy on the outside, and tender inside. If you prefer extra crispiness, cook for an additional 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish and Serve
Transfer the crispy pork belly bites to a serving plate. Sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Enjoy immediately with steamed rice, lettuce wraps, or your favorite Asian dipping sauce
