Ingredients

Person(s)
  • 8 ounces
    Refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 24 slices
    Pepperoni
  • 4 ounces
    Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp
    Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp
    Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    Italian seasoning
  • 3 tbsp
    Honey
  • 1 tsp
    Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp
    Apple cider vinegar
Directions
  • Prepare Hot Honey & Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine honey, crushed red pepper flakes, and apple cider vinegar.
Stir well and let it sit so the heat from the pepper flakes infuses into the honey while you prepare the bites.

  • Prepare the Crescent Dough & Fillings

Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 12 triangles.
If needed, lightly stretch each piece so there is enough space for filling.

Place 2 slices of pepperoni on the wider end of each triangle, then add 1 cube of mozzarella cheese on top.
Make sure the filling stays centered so it doesn’t leak during baking.

  • Roll, Seal & Bake

Starting from the wide end, carefully roll each triangle into a small crescent bite.
Gently pinch the edges to help seal the cheese inside.

Place all bites on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
Mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning, then brush it evenly over each bite.

Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown, puffed, and crispy on the outside with melted cheese inside.

  • Finish with Hot Honey & Serve

Remove from the oven and let the bites cool for 2–3 minutes.
Drizzle warm hot honey mixture generously over the baked bites.

For extra flavor, serve with a small bowl of additional honey on the side for dipping.
Serve immediately while warm, cheesy, and gooey inside.
